This small canteen is made entirely of brass and consists of both the canteen body and sling. One side of the canteen is stamped with a “U.S.” while the other has “GETTYSBURG.”
The canteen swivels on the sling and the top of the item has a small brass “O” ring for attaching to a ribbon or pinning to a garment. These canteens are often encountered on reunion ribbons and sometimes pinned to the inside of a hard image case.
Overall the item meas. approx. 1.50 inches tall and is in excellent clean condition. [ad]
