This photograph was taken from just below the western summit of Little Round Top around the time of the 1913 reunion.

Visible at left is the statue to General Warren as well as some stone breastworks among the rocks on the upper crest of the hill. At right are more large boulders. The background is dominated by the Valley of Death with Crawford Avenue running through the center of it. The northern edge of the Wheatfield is visible behind a slight ridge and some trees. Along the right edge can be seen the Wheatfield Road.

Also visible in the view are some of the monuments in the Valley of Death as well as some along the Wheatfield Road. The J. Weikert farm, just north of the road is also seen. Far to the right of the view is the Pennsylvania Memorial and the George Weikert farm. Seminary ridge is visible in the far distance.

Image is in the original wood frame and meas. approx. 62.50 x 12.50 inches. The image is clear with good contrast. Some haze makes the far distance a little light. Image has several light age spots and the glass has one vertical crack.
