Canister ball was found in the woods 300 yards north of the Trostle house. Approx. 1 1/2" in diameter.

This relic was once part of the Iva Rosensteel Rider collection. Mrs. Rider is the sister of George Rosensteel, who started the Electric Map museum in Gettysburg. Eventually, it became a part of the Rider collection in Gettysburg, which remained in the family until The Horse Soldier purchased the collection in June 2016. [sm]
