$20.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 173-3010

This is a Civil War “three-ring” bullet. Pressed and turned on a bullet-making machine created by J.D. Custer of Philadelphia. Pattern with five “spokes” in the cavity which came from when the lathe chuck held the bullet when shoulder and rings were cut. Nice white patina. Beautiful condition. This was recovered from Little Round Top at Gettysburg by local resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, who held the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.  [jet]
