Doll is modeled after the period photo of Jennie Wade, the only civilian killed in the Battle of Gettysburg. She has dark hair woven into braids, which are wrapped around her head. Doll is wearing a gray cotton dress with lace collar and cuffs, and eyelet drawers underneath. Her ivory shoes are molded onto her feet. She has a cameo brooch attached to the dress. Doll is made of plastic. She has eyes that open and close.
Doll measures 7 ¾” tall.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible that came from the Jennie Wade House Museum gift shop. [sh]
