Recovered off the Hanover Pike (Route 116 East), in a field behind the Daniel Lady Farm and the Giant grocery store on Route 30.
Projectile still retains the remains of the zinc Parrott fuse plug and the paper time fuse. Cleaned and varnished, body is very smooth. Very light pitting. Comes with letter and map of location where found by the local relic hunter who recovered it.
The individual who previously owned this item varnished and lightly cleaned the shell, and applied white paint indicating its location of recovery. If interested, we can have the paint removed. This would involve a fee of a minimum of $50.00.
