Image shows the monument to the 91st Pennsylvania Infantry of the 5th Corps erected on the summit of Little Round Top in 1889.
The image shows a man in a civilian suit who is probably a veteran, standing in front of the monument.
Paper image and mount have only light surface dirt. Cream colored mount has a penciled in caption along the left edge that reads “GETTYSBURG, 97TH PA. INF. ROUND TOP.” Image contrast is light.
Reverse has strong and clear black ink stamp that reads “FRANK G. KLAGES / 4027 GREENMOUNT AVE, BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.” One corner of reverse has a penciled number “110.”
