This small group of relics comes housed in a riker box and ready for display. The box contains a copy of the original paper label that reads "FOUND OFF WEST CONFEDERATE AVE IN 1959".
The relics contained in the group are the following:
Half of a fired Bormann artillery fuse
Dropped .58 Confederate Gardner bullet
Four .58 minie balls. 2 drops, 1 fired and 1 pulled
Carved Confederate Gardner bullet. Bottom of projectile remains
1 Dropped Williams Cleaner Type II bullet missing plunger
1 Dropped Williams Cleaner Type III bullet missing plunger
These items were recovered by Gettysburg resident the late Elwood Cullison and passed by him to the Rosensteel Family Collection of Gettysburg related artifacts until released for sale.
