Image is mounted on yellow stock. One edge is marked “ARTISTIC STEREO GEMS OF GETTYSBURG SCENERY” and the other states that the image is by W. H. Tipton.
The view was taken from the summit of Little Round Top looking west. Visible is the first monument erected to the 91st Pennsylvania with the “Valley of Death,” the Wheatfield and the Peach Orchard in the distance.
The view is number 834 and is captioned “91ST PA. VOL. TABLET ON LITTLE ROUND TOP, LOOKING ACROSS VALLEY OF DEATH TO WHEATFIELD, PEACH ORCHARD.” The contrast of the image is good and the mount is clean. Reverse is blank.
