The M1895 rifle is chambered for the 8 x 50 R cartridge. It has a 30 inch barrel and a straight pull bolt action. Stock is one piece with a handguard. Rear sight is leaf. They were manufactured between 1895 and 1918 at either Steyr or Budapest. Chamber was marked with either of the location along with M.95. This was the primary shoulder weapon used by Austro-Hungarians used in WW1.

Offered is a M.95 marked STEYR, serial number 5659E stamped on the receiver, barrel, stock and bolt. Wood is good with no cracks. Cartouched on the stock and the barrel. Very nice example of a WW1 weapon.
