Bore is bright with excellent rifling.

The bayonet is marked COLLINS & CO/HARDFORD/1861. Blade is dark from age but no rust or nicks. Serial number 41860 on the hilt.

This weapon shows signs of normal use such as small scratches throughout the wood and iron but most of the original finish is still very visible. This is a very fine specimen of a scarce Sharps that is hard to find.
