Light walnut stock in good condition. Stock is stamped “D. BERGER” twice on the side of the butt and twice below the lock. There is an inspector’s mark in the wood just below the barrel tang screw. There is also a small chip in the stock in this area. All metal surfaces are of iron and are bright. Barrel has light pitting around the bolster and on sides of original nipple. The barrel also has numerous proof markings in this area. These markings are all crowns with different initials under each. The lock is in nice shape with just a little surface pitting forward of the hammer.  Holds at half and full cock as it should. Has original ramrod and both sling swivels. Rear sight is notch type. Bore is bright and clean. Rifling is good.
