Brass bar at top is stamped with the word “SOUVENIR” at center of a linear border toped at center by scrollwork. Original pin remains on the reverse.
The drop has a diamond shaped center within an oak wreath. This is surmounted by a bar that reads “UNVEILING.” At center is a relief of an equestrian monument surrounded by “GEN U.S. GRANT STATUE FAIRMONT PARK PHILADELPHIA APRIL 27, 1899” in raised lettering.
Badge is mounted on a white display card with a neat typed description at bottom. [ad] [ph:L]
