Offered is a very nice condition silver inlaid 9mm revolver that was manufactured by Arendt in Liege. Arendt was manufacturing firearms from 1857 until 1889. Serial number 7432 is stamped on the barrel and the frame. The barrel is also stamped Regle, Arendt, Brevete and A. Liege. It has the Liege proof mark on the cylinder and the inspector’s mark of a crown over an initial, which was used between 1853 and 1877. This revolver has some unique features. The ejector rod has to be removed from the barrel, both the front and rear sight are located on the barrel. It also has a safety feature on the left frame where when the hammer is lifted a pin can be pushed through the frame to prevent the hammer from striking the cartridge. Strong finish and inlay throughout this pistol.
