This is a 9mm six shot pinfire revolver manufactured by the firm Orbea Hermanos of Eibar and so marked on the barrel. It is very similar to the Spanish model 1863 except it is missing a lanyard ring, the trigger is folding and it has engraving. The barrel is marked with serial number 12329 and the cylinder and trigger have the last three numbers 329. Barrel is 5 inches long. Crudely scratched on the backstrap is ‘New Orleans 1862’.
