Manufactured between 1860 and 1868 this revolver is a seven-shot .22 caliber weapon. Barrel is not quite 3.25” long with a maker’s stamp on top of barrel reading “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.” Bore has light rifling and some dirt. Cylinder is non-fluted and indexes properly. Patent dates stamped around the cylinder amid some rust. Frame retains most of original silver plating that shows dark tarnish. Barral shows original blue under light surface rust. Mechanics are strong and crisp.

Grips are rosewood and in fair condition with original deep color and finish; a few dings around bottom edge. Weapon bears serial #102936.  [jet][ph:L]
