Full title is “THE LIFE AND PUBLIC SERVICES OF HENRY CLAY DOWN TO 1848” by the famous newspaper man Horace Greeley and published in New York in 1856.
Exterior shows light to minor surface dirt with heavier edge wear. Spine is decorated with the title and a spread-winged eagle in gold.
Interior signatures are good. Pages have yellowed with age and have minor foxing and scattered staining.
