1863 INDIAN HEAD PENNY

$15.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1054-2616

Of all Civil War era coins, the 1863 Indian Head penny is especially sought after because they were made with a special copper-nickel alloy that was only used during the Civil War, making them heavier than other editions. Penny has a small ripple on the edge, but images and wording are very clear. Patina is brown with higher areas showing a brighter patina. [sL] [ph:L]
