Cylindrical iron tompion that meas. approx. 4.00 inches across the bottom by 3.25 inches high.
The body is made of one piece with a welt at each end. The face of the tompion was made slightly wider than the body and is held in place by crimping over the excess. The bottom plate is held on by an iron rim.
The face of the tompion has an iron ring attached to an eye bolt which passes through the body and is anchored at bottom. [ad]
