MINT BERETTA M1935 PISTOL WITH GERMAN “4UT” STAMP

$850.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: G3816

Exceptional Like-New example of the Beretta Model 1935 pistol used by the Germans in World War II.  Principal markings include: “570719” (serial number); “P BERETTA – CAL. 765 – BREVETTATA  GARDONE V.T. 1944” (manufacturer, caliber, and date of manufacture); “4UT” (military acceptance stamp denoting the Quarto Ufficio tecnico di Controllo Armi e Munizioni or Fourth Technical Control Office of Arms and Munitions).  These “4UT” pistols were delivered to German Army Headquarters in Italy following Mussolini’s rescue and restoration as head of the puppet Italian Social Republic in 1943.  The condition is exceptional with 98% of blue remaining!  The bore is perfect and seems very few rounds were fired through it.  The 7.65mm pistol is fully functioning and all the serial numbers match.  The magazine is the correct type for a 1944-produced M1935 pistol.  Beretta manufactured an estimated 92,000 M1935 pistols for the German army during 1944; based on the serial number, this pistol was made in September 1944.

Beretta M1935 pistols with German markings rarely come on the market in this condition!  Excellent opportunity to own a collector grade classic German pistol made prior to the last great battles of World War II!  [SK]
