(See Flayderman, 8^th ed., p. 177, “model 1b”).  Serial number 117. .22 caliber rimfire pistol with fluted 2.5” four chamber barrel. Brass frame, barrels blued. Left frame marking: “C. Sharps Patent 1859”; right frame marking: “C. Sharp’s & Co/Philadelphia.” Walnut grips. Barrel release mechanism on left side of frame. Frame markings lightly worn, but legible.  Barrel bluing gone, exhibit light pitting and medium gray patina. Bores are dusty. Cocking mechanism, hammer cams functional. Else good. Solid and attractive desk display piece.  [jp]
