Weapon is a Colt manufactured reproduction of the “Baby Dragoon” revolver in new condition.
The 4.00 inch long barrel is .31 and crisply stamped “ADDRESS SAML. COLT NEW-YORK CITY” in two lines. Barrel retains 100% of its blue and of course the bore is immaculate.
The 1.50 inch long cylinder is 5-shot and has a crisp cylinder scene of Rangers and Indians. All stops are perfect and all nipples are present.
The frame and hammer have wonderfully strong case colors. Action works well. Trigger guard and grip frames are silver plated and walnut grips are perfect.
Stamped on the left side of the frame is “COLT’S PATENT” in two lines. Serial number 17008 matches on all the numbered parts.
Item comes with the original black cardboard box and owners guide as well as gun safety material. Owners guide is dated 1978. Box has light wear with creasing on flap. Front has bust image of Sam Colt and “THE AUTHENTIC COLT BLACKPOWDER SERIES.” [ad]
