This Sharps four barrel pepperbox is .32 with a 2.50 inch barrel that slides forward for loading.
Originally offered with blued barrels and casehardened frame this weapon has been re-blued throughout. Faintly visible on the right side of the frame is “C. SHARPS PATENT JAN. 25, 1859.” Frame and barrel have two or three small areas of pitting but nothing major.
Barrel release works properly as does the cam in the face of the hammer. Hammer has a very low half-cock but otherwise works well. Serial number found under the barrel is “7380.”
“Bird head” style walnut grips are in very good condition. [ad]
