Complete and in strong condition, this .31 caliber cup fire brass cartridge is straight-cased and encloses a conical lead bullet.  When the concave portion of the case that held the fulminate was struck by the revolver’s hammer, the powder charge was detonated. Specimen measures a total 7/8” long. Brass casing wears a dark bronze patina.  Fine condition.
