This iron bullet mold, in a fine condition, was produced for a .50 caliber short or long arm. Complete and in tight working order, the straight, twin-handled, hinged mold measures 6” in length. Each 4¼” long handle exhibits the head portion that is machined-cut for a round ball. The integral sprue cutter is sharp and clean. Bears little use and exhibits one stamping “26” on inside handle. A pleasing dark patina covers the entire surface of this accoutrement.
