This big game sporting centerfire cartridge was produced by Fraser of Edinburgh for the big Sharps-Borchardt hunting rifles used on the Western plains. Total length of the cartridge is 3 5/8” long with a 2 9/16” brass case. Has a 550 gr. paper patched bullet and carries some 100 grams of powder. Brass has a dark bronze patina overall. Bullet is in very good condition, clean and tight about the head.
