Offered here is a very fine display of fourteen bullets and one cartridge used in the Civil War, Union and Confederate, all labeled and properly displayed in a matted Riker case.
Bullets are of many different patterns from various makers, North and South. Sharps & Hankins, .69 Raleigh (carved), Colt “Army”, .54 Mississippi (Harpers Ferry slug), Starr, Smith, Colt revolving rifle, .58 French, Enfields (“57” and “P” examples), .69 “Belgian”, and others. A complete .50 Maynard cartridge accompanies a Maynard bullet. A detailed description of the specimens is pasted to the back of the case.
