Offered here is a fine display of fifteen bullets and four cartridges used in the Civil War; all labeled and properly displayed in a matted Riker case.
Bullets are of many different patterns from various makers. Sage, Colt, Johnston & Dow, Bartholow, Leet & Hall, E.O. Potter and others. The majority are .36 “Navy” caliber and .44 “Army” caliber with one .31 caliber Colt “Pocket model” and one .50 caliber round ball for large single-shot pistols. A detailed description of the specimens is pasted to the back of the case.
Original copper cartridges included are 12mm Pinfires for Lefaucheux, a .32 cal. Teatfire for Moore, and a 12mm for Perrin revolver.
