Brass, two cavity bullet mold for 54 gauge (approx. .44 caliber) English Dean & Adams revolver.
It casts one round ball and one elongated bullet; both with descending "pins". Iron sprue cutter on top with typical English style rounded extension. Underside of sprue cutter and top of hinge pin feature similar stamp; "7". Left half of mold features crown stamp with "Registered / R. Ad[ams] / 28 Nov. 1851" and bullet gauge "54" (approximately .44 caliber).
Cavities remain clean and crisp. Iron and brass retain wonderful mellow color. This mold is in excellent condition overall.
A great bullet mold for English revolvers that were imported into the Confederacy. [jet] [ph:L]
