Offered here is a cartridge for the .54 caliber Merrill carbine. This has the typical Merrill bullet with solid base, three grooves, and pointy nose. The cartridge was made of untreated tan cartridge paper and simply pasted to the bullet.
Displayable condition with several small repaired cracks to the cartridge paper and light corrosion on one side of the bullet.
