Offered here is an exceptional and very early gang mold for round musket balls of varying calibers.
Made of brass and measuring approximately 5.5” long. Hinged at one end with a long, tapered channel on top to funnel lead into the four cavities. The musket ball cavities measure approximately 0.66, 0.63, 0.60, and 0.55.
Cavities remain clean and crisp. Brass has nice dark patina with usual nicks on outer surfaces from knocking the balls out of the mold.
A classic Revolutionary War era bullet mold. [jet] [ph:L]
