Paper cartridge in good solid condition. Single lead round ball and powder charge wrapped in tan cartridge paper. Tied above the ball with brown string. End is twisted closed. Typical staining from dust, gun powder and age.
This is the type of ammunition that was used in .69 caliber smoothbore muskets.
