Partially opened pack of “6 combustible envelope cartridges” by Colt Cartridge Works. This is Colt’s patented drilled and split wood package of cartridges. The block is wrapped with a pre-printed paper label.
Box has been partially opened and two of the cartridges are missing. A small portion of the label is missing down the right edge. The corner of the wood block was also cracked and was visibly glued and repaired. The bottom edge of the label has split where the “opening” wire runs. Pack is NOT completely opened and four cartridges remain sealed in the pack.
Remaining print on the label is clear and readable. This is great for a cased set or to display with .36 caliber Colt belt pistol. [jet] [ph:L]
