This larger tin measures 1 ½” in diameter x 1 ¼” tall. Raised lettering on the top of lid reads, “ELEY BROS / LONDON”. Tin has no percussion caps but instead was used to hold cloth patches. It is filled with patches cut from fine linen of the era. Japanned tin retains 99% of beautiful brown finish with only a few small scratches. [jet] [ph:m]
