Powder horn is in very good condition with a few scattered small chips and cracks. Horn measures approximately 12 ½” long x 2 7/8” at its widest end. End is sealed with an oval brass piece which was tacked in place with three small tacks, one of which is missing. Original brass spout with measuring valve remains at opening and is attached with two small screws. Horn has four brass rings attached for hanging cord. Entire powder horn is free of any markings or decorations. [sm]
