It has a 37", heavy fullered blade with semi-chisel point. The sword is in very fine condition. The blade retains a good amount of blue and gold wash over etched floral designs. The remainder of the blade is bright with just a few dark speckles. The sword has the classic intricate brass hilt of the Garde de Bataille with the original, untouched tang peen. The wire wrapped grip is in very fine original condition. The scabbard is of leather, with 3 brass mounts. It is in fine+ condition, with only some minor dings. The whole sword, with its blade, hilt, grip, and scabbard is in untouched fine+ condition. This is a massive and beautiful sword of the Napoleonic Wars.  [PE] [ph:L]
