These little flags were used to wave during a parade or patriotic ceremony and is small enough to be worn on a hat or in a lapel.
The flag is printed on a piece of cotton that meas. approx. 1.75 inches on the hoist x 2.75 inches on the fly. It is printed with 13 red & white stirpes with a blue field containing 7 white stars.
Flag is attached to a small round dowel approx. 4.00 inches long.
Item is nicely matted and framed. Modern wood frame meas. 6.50 x 7.75 inches and is in good condition. Reverse of the frame has a notation that reads “CONSERVATION MATTED & GLAZED 8/1/06” followed by the signature of the conservator that did the work. [ad] [ph:L]
