Sword has a straight blade that meas. approx. 26.00 inches long. Blade is 1.50 inches wide at the ricasso and tapers to a point. Starting near the ricasso on both sides are two parallel shallow fullers that run approx. 8.00 inches. Blade surface is mostly dark from age. The double edged blade has no nicks and a slightly rounded point. The ricasso area on the reverse side has a small casting flaw.

The hilt is of iron and wood. The grip is made of wood that has darkened from age and handling. Flat iron pommel cap, knucklebow and guard. Obverse side of the guard has a leaf shaped ear with a clamshell design. All iron of the hilt is dark like the blade.

The overall length of the sword is approx. 30.00 inches long.

There is no scabbard.
