$3,000.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 30-1802

[See Peterson, p. 53, ills. 52] Lacking markings and handle rivets, this Confederate cutlass is in other respects a fairly exact copy of the M1841 US Navy cutlass. Measures 26.25” in overall length, with a 21” blade measuring 1.5” in width at the base.  Blade exhibits salt and pepper patina, with moderate pitting running the length of the blade.  The cast brass hilt assembly is tight and symmetrical, displaying a dark and spottily tarnished patina. Else VG.  Extremely scarce. Fine Confederate Navy collectible.
