A very good example of the World War Two utility knife made by Kingston for the USMC. All steel construction. “Kingston” marked on the lanyard loop, a little light on the first three letters, but legible. “U.S. MARINE CORPS” on one side plate. This is a four-bladed combination tool dating to 1944-45. It consists of a knife blade, can opener, bottle opener/screwdriver, and awl. The screwdriver is set on the other end from the knife blade, indicating it is the second type. The condition is excellent. The blades are smooth metal, gunmetal gray, with good edges. The only fault we see is a missing small lifting stud on the screwdriver-bottle opener. [sr] [ph:L]
