The overall length of the drawn knife is 11.00 inches long. The blade itself is 6 11/16 inches long. It has a top edge running for half of the blades length and a normal length true edge. Blade surface is very clean with just a few minor rub marks and faint mottling. Both edges are free of nicks. One side of the ricasso has a small stamping of the number “6” within an eagle.
Wood grip is held to the blade by three rivets. Wood surface is clean and excellent.
Black metal scabbard has 100% original finish and four very small indentations. Back of the scabbard has a friction mount for attaching to belt, trousers or boot.
Very nice example of a World War Two German fighting knife. [ad]
