Bright blade measures 20” in length, 1” at base. Exhibits light patch of pitting, & age spotting on opposite sides of the base. Else pristine. Regulation inspection markings, “s” & “P.H.”, present on reverse counter-guard & the flat of the top handle. Rear spring catch is operable. Brass hilt is bright & attractive, exhibiting few dings. Scabbard leather exhibits moderate cracking, with loosened side-seam near the drag. Brass throat & drag are bright and tight. Overall VG. An attractive “Zouave” bayonet/scabbard collectible.
