This blued bayonet shows a light patina from handling around the socket but retains much of its original finish. A strong “US” is stamped into the blade and the locking ring works as new.
The scabbard is in nice condition with much of its original bluing while the leather shows typical light use but no signs of uncharacteristic drying or splitting. The reverse of the loop is marked “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1904” and the brass “US” medallion is free of tarnish.
