COLT BAYONET ADAPTER FOR ALTERED MISSISSIPPI RIFLE

$350.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1052-661

This simple but scarce item is an iron ring with tightening screw on one side and stud for a sword bayonet on the other.

The Colt altered Mississippi rifles were adapted to mount a saber bayonet. This simple attachment allowed for that.

Iron is semi-bright with darker oxidation scattered overall. Screw head and “lug” show very little wear. Item is numbered under the lug “7114.”  [jet] [ph:L]
