Image is of two men seated on two chairs placed side by side. One man rests an arm on the back of his chair while his friend rests his arm on the other man’s shoulder. Both men wear light colored shell jackets with high collars and cloth epaulettes with matching light trouser. Looking closely at the two jackets it can be discerned that the soldier on the left has wood or bone buttons while the soldier on the right has brass buttons.

Contrast and clarity are good. Mount and paper are in nice condition.

Reverse has a photographer imprint for LUPTON & BROWN… WINCHESTER, VA.
