The drawn bayonet meas. 27.25 inches from point to pommel.
Blade length is 22.50 inches with a 16.75 inch unstopped fuller. Ricasso is stamped with a king’s head and a crescent moon with some Arabic letters on both sides of the ricasso. Blade surface is very clean with faint scattered mottling. No pitting or rust is visible. Edge has one small nick.
Iron guard has the muzzle ring and ball ended hook. Guard is marked with Arabic numbers. Grips and pommel are made of ribbed brass. Locking mechanism in the pommel works properly.
Metal was black at one time but is now bright with scattered hints of dark paint. Throat has a loop for attaching to the frog. Finial is rounded. The metal body is free of dents. [ad] [ph:L]
