Bayonet is in good condition. The surface has a dark patina with light surface pitting. Overall 20 5/8” long with 2 5/8” socket. Clear “US” stamping on the flat with a tilted “N” above. Unlike most socket bayonets of this pattern, the mortise for the lug is cut into the top and left side of the socket. A nice, rare bayonet from P.S. Justice in Philadelphia. [jet]
