Bright blade meas. approx. 9 7/8 inches long with an unstopped central fuller that runs approx. 7 1/2 inches. The blade surface is very clean with no nicks in the edge. Blade does show some light rubbing from being drawn and sheathed numerous times. Ricasso is marked “WEYERSBERG / KIRSCHBAUM & CO. /SOLINGEN.”
Short iron guard is straight with muzzle ring at top. One side is stamped with “G9018.” Contoured wood grips are held by two rivets. Grips show light wear. Iron pommel has bird head shape with working button latch.
Bright metal scabbard with frog stud on the front. Scabbard shows some light mottling. Stud is marked “F1 13”. Scabbard has three light dings, nothing major. [ad]
