Bayonet has no scabbard.
Overall it meas. approx. 26.25 inches with a 21.50 inch curved blade that has an unstopped 16.00 inch central fuller. The blade surface is has mottling and scattered light surface pitting. Ricasso is blank on both sides. Blade has a flat spine and the true edge is free of nicks.
Heavy cast brass grip is covered an overlapping fish scale decoration and the bird head pommel has crossed Dahlgren guns over a kedge anchor within a stippled circle on both sides. Button fastener works properly. [ad]
