This bayonet and scabbard is in worn condition. The bayonet is the Enfield type with working locking ring. The surfaces of the bayonet are dark and have light amounts of surface rust. There is a makers name and a crown on the flat just forward of the socket but it is hard to read. The scabbard and frog are complete but weak. The scabbard has a solid center seam and the brass tip. The frog is sewn and held by two rivets. Much of the surface finish on the frog is gone. Despite the wear the scabbard is holding together well.
